Taylor, Bettie Ruth of Boston passed on October 21, 2016. Beloved wife to the late Veteran John Taylor. 

She leaves her children Lisa Taylor, Tanya Taylor Shannon (husband Anthony) and Bernadette Taylor-Rabb (husband Scott). Her step children Jonathan Gates (wife Cheryl) and Mark Searcy. She was blessed to have fourteen grandchildren and one great grand child. 

Loving sister to Loretta of No. Carolina and Stanley of  No. Carolina. Sister in Law to Thomas Taylor, Beatrice Johnson and Quinnie Gillard all of So. Carolina. 

She was predeceased by her parents Edward Baxter and Sarah Avant, and her daughter Belinda Taylor-Ellison. 

Visitation with family on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 10-11 AM at Greater Love Tabernacle, 101 Nightingale Street, Dorchester, MA 02124.

Celebration of Life service to start at 11 AM also from the church. There will be a private interment through St. Michael Crematory.
