Ewan August Christie, of Brockton, MA, passed peacefully on November 3, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

He was 76-years-old.

He leaves his two children Sherlon Christie of New Jersey and Cheryl Christie of Massachusetts.

He was a caring brother to Athlyn, Donesia, Winsom, Verona and Peter. He also leaves his dear aunt Mary Tomlinson of Florida along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Florice Christie and his brothers Jeptha and Douglas and sisters Evadney, Erma and Velma.

He came to the United States from Jamaica many years ago to create a better life for his family and his children. He was a long time resident of Brockton, MA and a hard working maintenance professional for the Brockton Housing Authority until the time of his passing.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.

Home Going Service will start at 11 a.m. also at the funeral home. Interment to follow at the Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA. 02131
