HOWARD, Frederick James of Waltham passed at home on December 17, 2017. Beloved son to the late Rosie Howard. 

He leaves his five loving children, Frederick James Howard, Jr., Dominique James Smalls, Sikora Monique Smalls, Sharvon Smalls and Dion James Smalls, their loving mother Sallie Smalls. He was blessed to have seven grand children. 

 He will be missed by his brothers and sisters Mary Johnson, Willie E. Howard, William Howard, Ernestine McNicols, Bernestine Howard, Larry Howard, Betty Howard, Alice Fay Hoffman, Curtis and Joneita Caroll. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Predeceased by his mother and sister Lois Howard. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 28, 2017 from 10-11 AM at Morning Star Baptist Church, 1257 Blue Hill Avenue, Mattapan, MA 02126.

Celebration of Life Service will start at 11 AM also from the church. Interment to follow to Oak Lawn Cemetery, 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, MA.
