Lynnor Latham Graham (LL) was born on December 9, 1962 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late Samuel Graham Jr. and Alberta Patricia Graham.

He completed his high school education in 1979. Several years later, his adventurous nature took him to Miami, Fla. where he worked in various fields. This was a great learning experience for him, but ultimately his heart brought him back to his roots here in Boston, MA and in 1985, shortly after his return home, Lynnor was blessed with his first son, Crescendo. In 1988, a few years after the birth of his son, he married. This marriage blessed him with his daughters, Candice and Melysa. Unfortunately this union ended in a separation in 1994 (and later a divorce). It was at this time, he met Anjanette Jakes. They began dating, embarking on a 22 yearlong relationship and were blessed with their son Isaiah.

Lynnor will be best remembered for his smile, big heart and his willingness to help others. Whether you were one of his kids, or someone he worked with through his many years in Human Services, he was always trying to teach youth how to be better.

Lynnor’s passions were many. He was an accomplished musician/singer/song-writer, a published author of poetry books and a romance novel. Additionally he had a clothing line, Black Truth Gear and Apparel.

A man of God, Lynnor quickly discovered that his purpose was to inspire others by spreading the word of God. This is something he took seriously and would do daily without fail up until his last days here on God’s Green Earth.

Lynnor leaves to mourn his passing, his fiancée, Anjanette Jakes, 6 sisters, Sylvia Brown and Lyvonne Archer (Tarboro, NC), Dawn Hicks and Yvette Paige (Raleigh, NC), Katheryn Jones (Mattapan, MA) and Sheila Graham (Randolph, MA); 1 brother, Tommy Clark (Boston, MA), 2 sons, Crescendo Smalls (Courtney) (Staten Island, NY), Isaiah Luong (No. Reading, MA), 2 daughters, Candice Latham (Dorchester, MA), Melysa Latham (Brooklyn, NY). He also leaves 4 aunts in Tarboro, NC, 1 aunt in Brooklyn, NY, 2 aunts in Boston, MA, 1 uncle in Nashville, NC, 1 uncle in Norwood, MA, 1 uncle in Brockton, MA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

Visitation will be on Saturday, July 30, 2016 from 10-11AM at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 230 Warren Street, Roxbury, MA 02119.

Home Going Celebration will start at 11AM also from the church.

Lynnor will be laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Harvard Street, Mattapan, MA 02126.
