Edwin Phoenix

Edwin Phoenix Sr from Brockton Mass departed his earthly life on March 26, 2024. He was 88 years of age.

Edwin Phoenix was born on December 5th, 1935, to the late Edward Phoenix and Viola Phoenix- Stanfield in Savannah Georgia.

Edwin married Margaret Tyler and they moved to Boston when he was 19 years old. From that union that had 6 children. Edwin was a very hardworking man. He worked for the Pepsi Cola Company driving their trucks. He also worked for a Boston cab company for a while, and a few other jobs. He eventually became employed at a company named Wollaston Alloy in Braintree. Edwin worked there for over 45 years until he retired. Edwin was a very kind, polite and friendly man to his neighbors and friends. He dearly loved his family.

He leaves to mourn His sister Elouise Phoenix, his brother James Phoenix, both of Savannah. He is preceded in death by his two sons Edwin Phoenix Jr and Edward Phoenix of Boston. He also leaves to mourn his four daughters Barbara Gary (Sam) Cynthia Phoenix-Haye, Elizabeth King (George) of Boston, Anita Courtney of Hinesville Georgia. 21 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren, and 7 or 8 Great, Great Grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and some friends. He will dearly me missed.
