Sherrie Lynn Alaboh was born and raised in Akron, OH on October 19th, 1956.
She was a loving, generous kind friend to all and loved to travel. You could always catch her hanging with her niece and best friend, Tanya or on the phone with her longtime friend Dot.
She is preceded by her parents Naomi and Jesse Anthony, 7 brothers and 2 sisters with DeLane as her last surviving sibling.
Sherrie loved her nieces and nephews. Especially Pride, Kyree & Lili and PJ!
She made the BEST fried chicken and always made sure to burn the extra feathers off. You could always catch Sherrie asking a question like “What y’all doin?” with a funny, loving affirmation to follow.
She worked for the state for over 40 years at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Fish & Game. She was fiercely independent woman and worked hard to maintain a fruitful life for herself.
She absolutely loved her cat, Black Dog that she raised with her longtime companion of over 10 years, Skip.
We’ll miss hearing Sherrie’s infectious laugh and innocently budding into conversations.
Sherrie’s light will continue to live on through her countless family members with the light and love that she always spread. She will be missed tremendously but will always be remembered. We Love You Sherrie.
