Hardaway Muhammad, Alan C., of Boston, MA passed at home on January 9, 2018. Beloved son to the late Alton Hardaway and Mattie Hardaway. 

He leaves his children Cherie and Amira Hardaway and her forever loving mother Tanya. 

Loving brother to Alton, Andre, Angela, Barbara, Elaine and Jackie. 

Visitation with family on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 10-11 AM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Highway, MAttapan, MA 02126.

Celebration of Life Service will start at 11 AM also from the funeral home. Interment to follow to Oak Lawn Cemetery, Roslindale, MA.

OBITUARY

A Time To Live:

Alan Curtis Hardaway was born on March 8, 1950 into the loving arms of Alton & Mattie Hardaway.

A Time To Leisure:

Alan was a graduate of Scituate High School & went on to have an 18 year career as a bus driver with Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority.

A Time To Leisure:

In 1984, Brother Alan accepted the Life Giving Teachings of The Honorable Elijah Muhammad under the direction of The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Throughout his sojourn in the Nation of Islam, as a member of Muhammad's Mosque No. 11 in Boston, he was known as a faithful & humble servant dedicated 

to the onward and upward advancement of Black people in particular and humanity in general. Brother Alan Muhammad was a firm believer of Islamic principles & he incorporated them into his everyday life & shared them with everyone he encountered. As a result of his commitment, upbeat & loving personality he made an overwhelmingly abundance of friends over the years.

A Time To Leave:

After fifty seven years complete of love, laughter, & labor a beautiful life has ended but is alive in the hereafter.

Brother Alan Curtis Hardaway Muhammad leaves to forever cherish his memory, his mother Mattie Hardaway.  His beloved daughters Cherie Hardaway & Amira Khadijah Hardaway. Loving brothers Alton Hardaway and Andre Hardaway, four dear sisters Elaine Hardaway, Jackie Hardaway, Barbara Hardaway and Angela Hardaway. He also leaves one niece, four nephews and a host of other loving family members & caring friends.
