Kenneth Earl (SR) Mendes

Army Veteran Kenneth Earl Mendes Sr., originally of New Bedford, MA passed peacefully in Brockton, MA on November 21, 2019.

Predeceased by his parents James Earl Mendes and Dorothy Rose Correia and his only sister Arlene Mendes Fernandes. 

He leaves his long time companion Linda Hicks of California. His loving children April Mendes Wilson (Wallace Wilson Jr), Kenneth P. Mendes Jr, Kevin J Mendes (Valerie Mendes), Sharon Mendes Martin (Kyle Martin), Erika Robin Peterson Curry (Kevin Curry) and Cherylann Fernandes Primus (Scott Primus Sr) and their mother and Estelle Mendes Peterson.

He also leaves his thirteen grand children and a host of family and dear friends to cherish his memories.

Visitation with family will be Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 10-11 AM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.

Celebration of Life Service will start at 11 AM also from the funeral home. Private interment will be held with St. Michael Crematory, Roslindale, MA.
