Beloved Matriarch Mrs. Ruby Lee Higginbottom departed her earthly life on Friday, November 29, 2019, in Needham, Massachusetts.
Originally from Gloster, Mississippi, she was the loving daughter to Jim Burris and Lizzie Macpipe, both of Mississippi. After leaving Mississippi at the tender age of 5, she was raised with welcoming arms by Willie R. Williams (Nana Willie). Being raised with love and compassion is why Ms. Ruby became who she was.

If you were from her neighborhood you would remember her packing up the camper and heading to the grocery store with all her children and anyone else who wanted to ride.
Known by several names like Ma, Ms. Ruby, RubyLee, Nana Ruby either way, everyone knew and respected her. She will be sorely missed, her memories will impact her entire family for generations to come.
