Stefan Nicholas Reed

Reed, Stefan Nicholas of Quincy, Massachusetts passed on July 21, 2018 in Nashville, Tennessee. 

Loving son, father and brother entered eternal life at the age of 31. 

Stefan Nicholas Reed was born on March 1, 1987 in Boston, Massachusetts to Kerry B. Wade and Dawn M. Reed. He leaves behind his brothers, Justin & Dewayne and sisters MaKeysha & Erica. His spirit is carried on by his daughter, Kierdyn Reed and is expecting another daughter in January 2019.  He also played a significant role in the lives of Braelyn and Adyen. He is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and the mothers of his children Kerri and Emily. He had particularly close relationships with his step-parents; Karen Wade, Michael Richards and Randy Long. 

Stefan had a passion for music and began playing when he was five years old. Playing the drums and piano were his favorite instruments. He is a gifted musician and learned how to play by listening to the beats and with hours of practice, he mastered the skills to play allmost any song he listened to.  Stefan inherited this talent from his father Kerry, who is also a musician, along with many other members of the Wade family. Stefan dreamed of becoming well-recognized musician and has a few videos on YouTube. 

Stefan also had a passion for sports, in particular football. He began playing football as a child and continued through high school where he was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School in 2005. He is a die-hard Patriots fan and admired all teams from Boston.  When Stefan moved to Tennessee a few years ago, he was given the nick-name “Boston” by his friends and co-workers because he always wore clothing with Boston logos. His charismatic personality made him a good friend to everyone he met.

Visitation with family on Friday, August 10, 2018 from 10-11 AM at Timothy Baptist Church, 35 Highland Street, Roxbury, MA 02119.

Celebration of Life service will start at 11 AM also from the church. Interment will follow to Cedar Grove Cemetery, Adams Street, Dorchester, MA.
