Aida Monteiro

Aida Monteiro, 95, of Boston, Massachusetts, peacefully passed away on May 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on November 26, 1930, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, Aida lived a life centered on faith, family, and compassion.

A devoted mother of 9 children, 47 grandchildren, 110 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren, Aida found her greatest joy in caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home for those around her. Her kindness, strength, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her, and her memory will remain forever in the hearts of her loved ones.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. Patrick’s Church in Roxbury, Massachusetts.

A Funeral Mass celebrating Aida’s life will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick’s Church. Interment will follow at New Calvary Cemetery in Boston, Massachusetts.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
