Alda Montrond

Alda Montrond, 95, best known as “Aida” passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on December 17th, 2024.

Aida was born on October 10th, 1929, in Talaia Fogo, Cabo Verde, to mother Cesaltina Teixeira and Father Maximo Silveira. She was the oldest of 26 children. Aida was a kind woman who welcomed everyone with open arms. She loved everyone unconditionally and loved being surrounded by her family. Aida had 9 children and is survived by 8. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.

The Montrond family would like to thank everyone who surrounded Aida with love during her lifetime and helped create some of her most memorable moments in her life.
