It is with profound sorrow that we share the tragic passing of Aldino Alves Centeio, who left this world far too soon on July 12, 2025, at the age of 27. Aldino passed alongside his beloved brother, Valdir Alves Centeio, in a heartbreaking event that has brought immense grief to their family and community.

Born on August 11, 1997, in Fogo, Cape Verde, to devoted parents Daniel and Orlanda Centeio, Aldino brought joy and light into the world from the very beginning. He was known for his warm nature, calm presence, and thoughtful heart. Aldino carried a quiet wisdom well beyond his years and had a natural way of making others feel seen, valued, and safe.

He and Valdir shared a bond that was truly special; brothers who stood side by side in all things. Their deep connection was felt by everyone who knew them, and their absence leaves an unfillable space in the lives of those who loved them.

Aldino is survived by his parents, many siblings, beloved nieces and nephews, a wide abundance of cousins, and a community of friends and extended family who cherished him deeply. The loss of both Aldino and Valdir has left their loved ones reeling, but their spirit lives on in the memories and love they gave so freely.

During this time of unbearable loss, the Centeio family is surrounded by the strength and compassion of those who stand with them in mourning.
