Alex De Andrade

Alex De Andrade, of Brockton, Massachusetts, tragically passed away on January 5, 2026, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Born on November 9, 1988, in Santiago, Cabo Verde, Alex was the beloved son of Pedro Andrade and Filismina Andrade.

He later moved to Brockton, where he grew up and attended local schools. During his years there, Alex formed lifelong friendships and created many cherished memories that will be remembered fondly by those who knew him.

Alex was a hardworking and dedicated individual who spent his working days as an attendant at the East Side Market. Known for his friendly nature and familiar face.

Alex was a devoted father, son, and family member. He leaves behind his loving parents, siblings, grandparents, and a large circle of family members and friends who will miss him deeply. His life was taken far too soon, and his loss is felt profoundly by all who loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on January 16, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the George Lopes Funeral Home, located at 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on January 17, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Edith Stein Parish, located at 71 E Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, located at 163 N. Cary Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Alex will be remembered for his love for his son, his loyalty to family, and the many lives he touched throughout his journey. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
