Alice Centeio

Alice Centeio, 55, of Brockton, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026.

She was born on September 2, 1970, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, to the late Alvaro Centeio and Maria Centeio.

Alice carried her Cape Verdean roots close to her heart and lived her life with quiet strength, kindness, and grace. She was known for her warm presence, gentle spirit, and deep love for her family and friends. Alice had a way of making others feel seen and cared for, and her compassion left a lasting impression on all who knew her.

Alice was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her sibling, Nelson Centeio.

She leaves behind her cherished siblings Orlando, Antonio, Isabel, and Manuel Centeio, along with many loving extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply and forever hold her memory close to their hearts.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at George Lopes Funeral Home, located at 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edith Stein Parish, located at 71 E. Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Following the Mass, Alice will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, located at 163 N. Cary Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Alice’s memory will live on through the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the legacy of kindness she leaves behind. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
