Obituary
The beloved Ana Maria (Gomes) Pires, of Dorchester, Massachusetts passed peacefully on May 3, 2023 in Boston.
She was born in Fogo, Cabo Verde to Manuel and Maria Depina Gomes.
Loving wife to Nicolau Pires. She was a devoted mother to Walter, Valdir, Neusa and Nicholas Pires. Blessed to have four grand children.
Ana Maria was a caring sister to Antonio, Joao, Pedro, Mainha, Mamazinha and Lina. She also leaves a host of family and friends to cherish her memories.
Visitation hours will be on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 6-9PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Hwy, Mattapan, MA 02126.
Celebration of Life Service will be on Wednesday, May 10 at 11AM from Waymark SDA Church, 1048 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, MA 02125. There will be a visitation before services at 10AM also from the church.
Following serviecs will be interment at New Calvary Cemetery, Harvard Street, Mattapan, MA .
