Annette Kishosha Obituary

We thank God for the life of Annette Kishosha. Although her life was cut short at the age of 41, we are grateful for the love, laughter, memories, and moments she shared with all of us during her time here on earth.

Annette was the firstborn child of Frida Kishosha and Devotha Kishosha, and a beloved granddaughter of Regina Kishosha. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, niece, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her husband , her beloved daughter , her mothers , her grandmother , her younger brothers Freddy and Christian, and her sister Catherine. She also leaves behind her uncles Frank, Kelvin, Benjamin, Jackson, Christopher, Samson, Samora, Steven, and Joseph, her aunt Neema, as well as her nephews Godwin and Nicolas, and niece Lorraine, who will all continue to cherish her memory.

Her educational journey began at L’Adois and André Malereau Primary Schools in Abidjan. She later attended Springbrook High School in Silver Spring, Maryland, continued at the American School of Abidjan for Grade 11, and completed Grade 12 at the American School of Accra. She then pursued her university education at Suffolk University’s Dakar branch in Senegal for two years before finishing in Boston, Massachusetts, where she graduated in 2008.

In 2012, Annette married David Buckett and was a mother to Malaika, a role she carried with love, pride, and devotion. Family meant a lot to her, and she always shared her love in her own special way. Annette will always be remembered for her vibrant personality and the energy she brought wherever she went. She was someone who always spoke her mind honestly and fearlessly. She was real, expressive, and full of life. She loved cooking, eating good food, and enjoying life with the people around her. She also loved to party and bring joy and laughter into every gathering. Sometimes she would make everyone laugh with her humor and playful spirit, and other times she would sit us down and give advice that came from a place of care and experience. Those conversations, jokes, and moments with her are memories we will hold onto forever.

Her passing has left a deep pain in our hearts because 41 is still young, and we wish we had more time with her. But even in our grief, we thank God for allowing us to share part of life’s journey with her. We are grateful for the love she gave, the lessons she shared, and the memories she created with all of us. Annette, you may no longer be with us physically, but your spirit and memory will continue to live in our hearts every day. You will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and never forgotten. May your soul rest in eternal peace.
