Antonio Gomes

Antonio Gomes (87) of Taunton, MA passed on August 17, 2023.

Antonio was born September 25, 1935, in Fogo, Cabo Verde to Domingos Miranda and Zumira Gomes.

Antonio was blessed to be the father of Maria Eugenia Gomes, Ernestina Gomes, Joaquina Gomes Lopes, Manuel Gomes Lopes, Zulmira Gomes, Jose Carlos Gomes, Lucinda Gomes, Antonia Gomes, Martinho Barbosa Gomes, Marta Gomes, Ana Gomes, and Pedro Gomes. He also is survived by fifty-four grandchildren, forty-five great-grandchildren, and one great grandchild, along with a host of many other loving relatives and friends who will miss him. 

Viewing services for Antonio Gomes will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 5:00-8:00Pm located at the George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

The funeral service will take place on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at 10:00AM located at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 127 N Quincy Street, Abington, MA 02351. Proceeding the services will be interment at Calvary Cemetery in Brockton, MA.
