Artur J. Tavares

Artur J. Tavares of Brockton, Massachusetts passed suddenly on January 24, 2025. 

Artur Tavares was born on July 3, 1973, to the late Manuel J. Tavares and Maria Louisa Nunes Tavares in Fogo, Cabo Verde. 

Artur was a beloved son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend to many. 

He leaves behind his loving siblings and a host of other caring family members and friends. 

Visitation services will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 5:00PM-8:00PM located at the George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, starting 10:00AM located St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Following the funeral mass will be an interment at Calvary Cemetery, 163 North Cary Street, Brockton, MA 02302.
