Audine Gene

With hearts both heavy and hopeful, the family of Minister Audine Gene announces that she entered into eternal rest with the Lord on August 24, 2025, at the age of 65.

Born on a sunny day on May 28, 1960, in Jacmel, Haiti to Cherluis Eugene and A’Monaise Lagurre, Audine lived a life marked by resilience, faith, service, and love.

She faithfully served several churches in the Haitian communities in Massachusetts, Florida, New York, and surrounding areas. Minister Audine was known for her fiery spirit, kindness, steadfast faith, generosity, and devotion to family.

She leaves behind her five children: Wesly Fleurime, Audley Fleurime, Cherline Gene, Mary Gene, Angelo Gene and their spouses; and five grandchildren: Hannaelle Egalite, Mekhi Fleurime, Aniylah Calixte, Angelo Gene Jr., and Baby D. She is also survived by her sister Dieunette Gene and brothers: Faubert Eugene, DieuBenit Eugene, and Gerald Eugene in addition to their spouses and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who rejoice in the hope of reunion promised in Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister: Marie-Loude Eugene and her brother: Claudy Eugene.

A homegoing service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Church of God Bethel, House of Refuge: 102 South Franklin St. Holbrook, Ma 02343 where family and friends will gather to celebrate God’s gift of life and the eternal life now granted to Minister Audine.

The burial will take place in Brockton, Mass at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street. We give thanks for the life of Minister Audine, trusting in the promise of John 11:25-26:

“Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.’”
