Beatrice Nwanze Obituary

Ezinne Beatrice Ugochi Nwanze, Nee Anyanwu, popularly known by her nickname Adaji was born on 2nd March 1936, in Ehime Mbano LGA of Imo state Nigeria. She was born to the family of late Mr. Anyanwu, of Umuokwe, Umueze 2, Ehime Mbano Imo state Nigeria in a family of four children as the only daughter and the last child of her mother. She was married to late Nze Augustin Nwanze of Umuawuchi Owerri, Ehime Mbano in the year 1971 at St. Michael Catholic Church Umueze One. Ezinne Nwanze moved to United states of America to live with her daughter and family in 2014 where she lived till her death, on 25th April 2020 after a brief illness.

Growing up, Ezinne Beatrice was loved and admired by everyone for being kindhearted and hardworking, my mother! my mother! my mother! Late Mrs. Ezinne Beatrice Nwanze, “Nnenne” as she is fondly called even by her own children may not had been formally educated yet possess such wisdom that makes her stand out in anywhere she finds herself. Friends and well-wishers testify that ‘advices from Adaji is a direction to the promised land’.

Nnenne! is it real that I will not see you again? Neither to listen to your soothing words of encouragement and advice! I and my siblings are missing you; we are crying mostly for us not going to get your peaceful advice, your Angelic singing tone anymore. But we are sure we will meet again on the last day. Most people that have come to you for advice or encountered you in one way or the other are crying. The young women and couples you touched their lives and marriages through your rare to find advice & prayers are crying. Nnenne, you may have gone away from our eyes, but you still live in our minds. We will never forget your love for humanity, your devotedness and love for the things of God. You have gone to answer a Holy and everlasting joyous and important call by God Almighty through his Angels on that day of April 25th, 2020 and I know you are happy in heaven. You always sing your heavenly songs here on earth, always happy. Singing Angelic songs is your leisure while on earth. Your singing and happiness will continue with the Angels and saints in Heaven. Your prayer and Rosary time are more important than any other thing to you. Continue to pray for us here on earth You are so peaceful to the core, you are my role model. I promise that all the goodies I learned from you will be passed on to your generation and to people that I will encounter.
She is survived by her elder brother and six children; Mrs. Rose Osuji, Mr. Raymond Nwanze Mrs. Martha Ekechukwu, Mr. Justin Nwanze, son Mrs. Agnes Iyem, daughter Mr. Munachiso Nwanze, son, including many grandchildren and in-laws, notably Charles Ekechukwu whom she lives with before the Holy call.

Goodbye Mother, Nnenne Rest In Peace till we meet again at the right time. Peace -peace- and Peace, this is what you are, and it goes with you anywhere you have touched. Again Peace!.

Burial ceremonies will take place in her hometown of Owerri, Nigeria at a later date.
