Benvinda Goncalves

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Benvinda Goncalves, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully on September 18, 2025, in Brockton, MA.

Benvinda was born on August 28, 1951, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, to the late Manuel Veiga and Augustina Goncalves. She was 74 years old.

Benvinda was a dedicated assembler for Pharmacol and worked tirelessly to support her family. Her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her cherished children, grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who are grateful for the love and memories she shared with them.

A viewing service will be held in her honor on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA.

Her funeral service will take place the following day, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the same location, followed by her interment at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl Street, Brockton, MA.

Benvinda's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her. May she rest in peace.
