On January 11, 2026, at 1:07 a.m., our beloved Bobbie Jean (Jackson) Ware—affectionately known as “Tip” or “Tippy”—peacefully departed this world to be with the Lord.
Bobbie was born on December 13, 1943, in Athens, Georgia, to the late Clifford and Georgia Mae Jackson. She was 82 years old.
Bobbie possessed many titles throughout her life—loving wife, devoted mother, proud grandmother, caring sister, and dear aunt. Her warmth, strength, and generous spirit touched all who knew her.
After attending and graduating from Clarke Central High School, Bobbie relocated to Massachusetts, where she later met the love of her life, Franklin D. Ware of Bessemer, Alabama. The two were united in marriage and blessed with five children: Andrea Akens (Clayman Akens), Sandra January, Franklin Jr. Ware, Kenneth Ware (Erica Martin- Ware), and Michael Ware, who preceded
her in death.
Career and Education, Bobbie’s work ethic and dedication were evident throughout her career. She held positions at: AP Bakery (Massachusetts) Deutch Machine Tool and Die (California) Skill Center (Springfield, Massachusetts) Rams Distilled Liquor Chain (California) Always eager to learn, Bobbie continued her education at El Camino College in California, where she studied Liberal Arts.
Legacy: Bobbie’s life was defined by love—her love for family, her passion for helping others, and her joy in seeing those around her succeed. She created a home filled with laughter, wisdom, and kindness that will live on through generations.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory her devoted husband Franklin D. Ware, children Andrea Akens, Sandra January, Franklin Jr., and Kenneth Ware, along with grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
