With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, the family of Carlos Barbosa announces his passing on November 6, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Born on June 24, 1993, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, Carlos was the beloved son of Daniel Barbosa and Angelina Fernandes Alves Andrade, who continue to cherish his memory.

Carlos grew up surrounded by love, laughter, and family values that shaped the kind and hardworking man he became. After graduating from Brockton High School, he dedicated his days to his work as a landscaper, taking great pride in transforming outdoor spaces and bringing beauty to the world around him. His strong work ethic, gentle spirit, and warm smile left a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Carlos’s greatest joy in life was his children, whom he loved unconditionally and whose lives he enriched with his affection, guidance, and laughter. He also leaves behind his parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of many loving family members and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.

To those who knew Carlos, he will be remembered for his kindness, his easy smile, and his unwavering love for his family. His presence brought light to every room, and his absence will be felt deeply by all whose lives he touched.

Wake services will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, located at 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

A Funeral Mass will follow the next day, Wednesday, November 12, 2025, beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 E Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Carlos will then be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery, 163 N Cary Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Though he is gone too soon, Carlos’s love and spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
