Carlos Jorge Goncalves Monteiro

With profound sadness, we announce the unexpected passing of Carlos Jorge Gonçalves Monteiro on November 16, 2025. Born on December 7, 1991, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, Carlos was the beloved son of Carlos Monteiro and Maria Gonçalves.

Carlos was a devoted husband to Angelina Monteiro and a proud, loving father to his only son, Isaac Monteiro, who was the light of his life. He is also survived by his sibling; Neliza Pinto, Carlos Monteiro, Alexandra Monteiro, Alicia Monteiro, Shur Monteiro and Silvio Monteiro—all of whom will forever cherish his memory.

Known for his boundless love, warm humor, and genuine kindness, Carlos touched countless lives. His joyful spirit, willingness to help others, and ability to make anyone smile made him a cherished presence within his family and the wider community. He leaves behind a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones who will carry his memory in their hearts always.

Viewing services for Carlos will be held on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, from 5:00–8:00 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, located at 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA. A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 E. Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301, beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton, Massachusetts.

Carlos Jorge Gonçalves Monteiro will be remembered for the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the kindness he spread. May he rest in eternal peace
