Carmen Rivera

Our beloved mother, Carmen Rivera passed away peacefully on December 23, 2025.

Her beloved daughter Yolanda was by her side throughout Carmen’s battle with dementia and related illness. Her legacy included an additional 2 daughter’s, 3 son’s and other family members.

Her conflicted and humble beginnings in her Puerto Rico revealed her strength of character and her willingness to have a better life for her and children by moving to the United States

Carmen expressed her exuberant personality through her cooking and interaction. Her generosity and loving nature were expressed through these strengths. Insist on providing home cooked meals for her family and others that went without.

Her Constitution was evidenced in her meticulous manner of dress, love for her family, and fervent and timely attendance at bingo. Even at her last day of dementia, she made her made her final choice in the manner she passed.

We Love You Carmen, Mami….
