Corin McGee

Our beautiful Corin passed away January 5th 2022 in the comfort of her home, peacefully in her sleep. We grieve her absence but rejoice for her peace. 

Corin was born to Patricia A. Crutchfield and her loving father Michael J. Hassett on 6/9/67 in Cambridge, Ma. 

After the loss of her loving father, she gained her bonus father, John R. Crutchfield, affectionately known as Papa. She resided in East Bridgewater as a child and later settled in Brockton where she purchased her home and raised her family. Corin is survived by her daughter, Michaela McGee, son Darnell Harrison, grandson Providence, and his father Charles Gordon. She leaves behind two brothers, Michael (Tad) Hassett, Mathew Hassett, and his wife Jodi Hassett. Additionally, she is survived by sisters Beth Elliot and Bonnie Mazariegos, friend and former husband Wayne “Skippy” McGee along with his son Jason Turner and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear lifelong friends.

Corin loved spending time with her close friends, traveling, going to the beach, sunbathing and walking barefoot. She was an advocate for social justice issues and had a beautifully loving heart towards children and her pets. Most recently Corin could be found spending every waking moment with her grandson Providence who was the joy of her life.

We mourn the loss of this unforgettable woman but wish to celebrate her life with joy and remembrance. A wake will be held Wednesday January 12, 2022 at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main St. Brockton, Ma from 5pm-8pm. A memorial service will be held Thursday January 13, 2022 at George Lopes Funeral Home and laid to rest with her father at 170 Central St East Bridgewater, MA  02333. Repast will follow at Joe Angelo’s, 11 Crescent St. Brockton, Ma.
