Crystal Vernette Rankin

Crystal Vernette Rankin was born on August 1, 1966, to her late parents, Lillian V. Owens Rankin and Willie Floyd Rankin.

Crystal was a happy child who grew up around many of her aunts, uncles and cousins. She especially loved her late grandmother Mrs. Beulah E Owens, who babysat her while her mother worked her way through college. Crystal was an inquisitive child who sought to learn about the world around her, an attribute she fearlessly used to maneuver her way through life. When we think about Crystal, we will remember the outrageously funny way she could weave a story around any subject matter until it became the tallest of tales. 

Dearest Crystal, God has smiled on you and set you free. Crystal leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Crystalee Rankin, Diamondlee Rankin and her son Floyd Rankin.  She also leaves to mourn her extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. We will miss you dearly.
