Cynthia Pope

Cynthia Annette Pope was born on July 19,1965, to Doris M. Taylor and Walter James Wesley in Shreveport Louisiana.

Cynthia’s mom Doris relocated to Boston Massachusetts with her husband Willie L. Taylor who helped raised Cynthia to be the amazing woman she was.

Cynthia attended the Boston Public School system. After she attended Roxbury Community College, Northeastern University, Umass Boston and the American Red Cross. All of her education leads her to do what she loved most, which was caring for others.

Cynthia met and married James Pope on June 17, 2017, where they had a beautiful life until his passing. Cynthia was a proud mother of her three sons. Christopher Smith, Matthew Allen and Richard Allen. Cynthia adored all of her grandchildren and was proud to be called Nana.

Cynthia leaves behind her Mother Doris, her father Walter and her dad Willie, her brother Walter and her sister Carolyn. Her grandchildren Christopher, Nikolas, Preston, Jacarie, Matthew, Jaylen, Chrissy, Erica, Akiva, Aylen, Raniya, Ryla and Remi and her great grandson Kyson. Cynthia also leaves behind a host of aunts, cousins and friends who will miss her beyond words can express.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband James Pope, brother Willie Taylor, great grandmother Henrietta Howard, grandmother Helen Harris, uncle W.A Adger, aunt Diane Adger, Cousin Jacqueline Adger, Tacary Jones, Calvin Boykin, Kaiyah Bailey, Curtis Tillman
