Damion Stephen Porter of Brockton, MA, passed away suddenly on December 20, 2025.

Born on March 21, 1974, in Boston, Massachusetts. Damion was a loving partner to his fiancée, Danielle Kucinski of Brockton, MA.

A loving father to his daughters, Cassandra Nunley of Camden, South Carolina, Isis Porter of Quincy, MA, and Trinity Porter of Braintree, MA. Also, a proud grandfather to Josiah and Ja'Niyah Custard, and Jeriah Kirkland, all of Camden, South Carolina. Damion was the son of Sharon Porter of Quincy, MA, and his stepfather, Charles Jordan of Brockton, MA, and Steven Porter of Boston, MA.

He is also deeply missed by his sister, Tanisha Porter Nkuusa, his niece, Sahara Nkuusa, and his siblings, Steven Strickland (deceased), Arthur and Stephanie Strickland, and Jamal Owens.

Damion was preceded in death by his grandparents, Althaniel and Mattie White of Framingham, MA. Also, Leeanne Porter of Boston, MA. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Damion was a proud graduate of Bay State School of Technology, earning his HVAC certification. Damion was a hard worker. He began his journey with the Laborers Union Local 721 as a Machine Operator for Oldcastle in Holbrook, MA. Damion later transitioned from old Castel to becoming a General Construction Laborer directly through the Union. Damion was always willing to learn and put his best foot forward, earning the respect and admiration of his co-workers.

Damion had a heart full of love, not just for his family but also for his friends. He was the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need. If you needed a shoulder to lean on or a friend to talk to, he was always there, ready to listen and support you.

His kindness and generosity made a lasting impact on everyone he met. Damion's spirit will be missed deeply, but his love and laughter will always be remembered by those who knew him.

Services to celebrate Damion's life will all take place on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 2-4pm at the George Lopes Funeral Home, located on 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
