Darrel Hunt

Darrel Hunt, 63, of Boston, MA suddenly passed away on June 30, 2024.

Darrel was a proud and lifelong resident of Boston, Massachusetts. He attended Boston High School and he honorably served in the United States Army for five years. He would later marry Marzella Hightower, with whom he shares two daughters. 

Darrel was known for his dexterous carpentry skills, his larger-than-life personality, and sense of humor. 

Over the course of his life, Darrel made many strong and lasting friendships with people he considered family.  

He is survived by his daughters Bridgette Alpert and Darcel Hunt- Finegold, two grandchildren, brothers, William Hunt, Jr. (Pauline) and Ronald Hunt (Minnie), sister, Carolyn Merisca and a host of family who miss him dearly. Waiting for him at the door to Heaven were parents, William and Bernice Hunt, his brothers, Rodney and Joseph, sisters, Cynthia and Dollie and nephews, Rodd and Jamaine.  

Rest in peace, Darrel, your spirit and love will continue to blossom in our hearts.
