Darryl Eugene Lewis SR.

Mr. Darryl Eugene Lewis Sr. was born on October 26, 1956, in Boston to the late Edward N. Lewis Sr. and Jessie Lewis. He peacefully departed this life on May 18, 2026.

Darryl was born and raised in Boston and was one of nine children. He shared a close bond with his siblings: Jean L. Thomas, Claudine Carter, Carolyn M. Cinelli, Garnett Lewis, Larry Lewis, Norwood Lewis, Phyllis Lewis, and Edward N. Lewis Jr.

He attended West Roxbury High School in Boston, Massachusetts. Following graduation, Darryl proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After completing his military service, he began a long and dedicated career with the Bank of New England. Through company mergers and transitions, he remained committed to his profession and ultimately retired under Bank of America.

While our hearts are heavy, we also celebrate the legacy he leaves behind — a legacy of love, support, dedication, and family values. The memories he created and the lessons he taught will continue to live on through his wife Cynthia Lewis, his son Darryl E. Lewis Jr., and all the family and friends whose lives he touched.

Darryl will truly be missed, but he will never be forgotten. May he rest peacefully and forever remain in our hearts.

Darryl was a true family man who valued love, support, and togetherness. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife, Cynthia Lewis, and his loving son, Darryl E. Lewis Jr., along with a host of relatives, friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by his kindness and presence.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit and memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
