Denise Neal passed away peacefully, surrounded by the warmth of her family and friends, on April 24, 2026, at Boston Medical Center following complications from her illness.
Born in Belize City, Belize, on September 14, 1965, Denise immigrated to the United States as a child. She grew up between Boston, Brockton, Massachusetts, and Florida, building a life centered on love, resilience, and connection.
Married for over 35 years, Denise was a caretaker by nature. She dedicated much of her professional life to home healthcare, where her compassion touched countless lives. Whether she was tending to senior citizens or caring for children, her heart was always in service to others.
Denise was truly the “life of the party.” She had a feisty, adventurous spirit, a deep love for travel, and lived for the vibrant energy and music of Carnival season. Above all, her greatest devotion was to her family and friends. Her love for her grandchildren was unmatched and filled her with immense pride and joy.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Neal, Pierre Neal, and Denetrice Robateau; her mother, Eleonor Coye; and her siblings, Linda Sanchez, Velda Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez, her twin brother Dennis Neal, as well as Jerome Neal, and Larrie Neal.
She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Aasjah Swiderski, Brian Anderson, Demarion Robateau, Aarik Swiderski, Xayvion Neal, Eliza Neal, Philesha, Neytiri, and Phillip (jr) along with a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, and lifelong friends who will miss her dearly.
