Dorothy Southern

It is with deep sadness that thefamily of Dorothy "Dolly" Southern announce that our beloved mother and grandmother passed away after a long illness surrounded by her loving family on October 28, 2021. She was predeceased by her son Croney P. Southern, Jr and her granddaughter, Ywai E. Engerman. 

She was born in Carver, Massachusetts, to Manuel Fernandez and Annabelle (Doleman) Fernandez on April 13, 1934. She is survived by her children, Brian D. Southern, Dorothy C. Southern, Ywain "Sooto" D. Engerman, Manuel "Tiny" J. Fernandez. She also leaves her brothers LawrenceFernandez and Victor Fernandez, her grandchildren: Charlotte Southern, Yleis Engerman, Kora Fernandez, Brianna Southern, Yvana Engerman, Dolly Southern, Maya Fernandez, Lauren Lamb, Shatia Roberts, Shanae Roberts and Rashawn Roberts, and her great-grandchildren: Alexandra and Gabriel Rey and Dallas Engerman, and Ryan and Charles Lamb.
