Earlene Rodriguez

Earlene Pate was born on August 18th, 1962 in Warrick County Georgia to the beloved
late Eloise Pate and Jesse James Pate. During Earlene’s upbringing, she grew up in a
very religious family. There was no surprise in how Earlene loved the Lord. In hopes
of a better living, Earlene and her family departed from Georgia and moved up North
to Boston, MA, where she would later attend West Roxbury High school.

Earlene welcomed her first born, Veronica Pate on March 25, 1979. She later
was blessed with the late Demetry Lee Pate, Dominic Pate, Tony Coburn, the
late Aaron Carter, Sharay Pringle, Joshua Pate, Jared Pate and Raquia Pate –
who all were birthed in Boston, MA. Around 2004, Earlene found herself making
a return to the south, when she moved to Springville, AL with her former
husband Joseph Turner. She resided there a few years after the passing of her
mother in 2008. She later relocated to Taunton, MA.

Earlene was the greatest dancer, boy she got down! She was both free
spirited and the life of the party. Earlene was one of kind – she commanded
respect and was everything built in one. She wore her title as a “big sister” with
dignity and secured it with the confidence “of always being right”. Earlene had
a way about her that would shut anyone down. Earlene had a heart of gold and
a weak spot for her loved ones. She was a member of The Church Without Walls
in Brockton, MA. She received her CNA certificate and worked until she fell ill.
Earlene remarried to Lorenzo Rodriguez.

On December 23rd at 5:15pm, Earlene took her last breath in comfort at the
Morton hospital in Taunton, MA. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2
sons and brother, Elijah Pate. Earlene leaves behind 3 daughters: Veronica
Pate, Sharay Pringle & Raquia Pate; 4 sons: Dominic Pate, Jared Pate, Tony
Coburn, Joshua Pate; 14 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren; 4 Godchildren:
Nathaniel Starlings, Kenya Newberry, Kimberly Mitchell & Giovanni Jennings;
6 siblings: Ricky Pate, Julie Pate, Rufus Pate, Sharon Walker, Towanda Pate, &
Regina Pate; 2 Aunts: Carrie Leatherwood& Mella Pearl Jones, a host of nieces
and nephews, along with family members and friends., husband Lorenzo Rodriguez.
