Ester Lopes Fidalgo

Ester Lopes Fidalgo, born on April 26, 1959, in Santiago, Cabo Verde, and a longtime resident of Brockton, MA, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Lopes Fidalgo and Domingas Debrito, as well as her sister. Ester leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion.

She is survived by her cherished children, Daniel Levy, Edson Levy, and Veronica Levy-Almada. Along with her daughter-in-law, Marina DaRosa-Levy, and son-in-law, Celestino Almada. Ester's warmth and wisdom will be deeply missed by her six grandchildren: Andany Levy, Jaimara Levy, Landany Levy, Tafari Levy, Layza Levy, and Genesis Levy, as well as her three great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Ester was the proud sister of six siblings, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts. Her life partner, Carlos Moniz, will also remember her as a source of strength and love.

Ester’s kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering spirit and the love she poured into her family.
