Etelvina Lopes Martins (93) of Brockton, Massachusetts gained her angel wings on December 6, 2024

Etelvina L. Martins was born on May 11, 1931, to the late Jose Lopes Martins and Margarita Ribeiro in Fogo, Cape Verde.

Etelvina is preceded by both her parents and 2 of her children, Maria Fatima Martins and Joao Miranda. 

Etelvina Martins leaves behind to cherish her memory her children Maria Andrade, Antonio Miranda, Maria Fernandes, Pedro Martins, Ines Miranda, and John Rodrigues, 33 grandchildren, and a host of many loving relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

Memorial services will be held at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301, with visitation on Tuesday, December 10, 2024, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass to honor Etelvina Martins' life will be held on December 11, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 E. Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301, followed by her final resting place at Melrose Cemetery, 88 North Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
