Felismina Miranda Andrade

Felismina Miranda Andrade, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at the age of 78.

Born on December 6, 1947, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, Felismina was the cherished daughter of Vicencio Couto and the late Djalia Miranda. She carried with her the strength, warmth, and rich traditions of her homeland throughout her life.

Felismina was the devoted and loving wife of Pedro F. Andrade. She was a proud and caring mother to Manuel M. Martins, Maria A. Andrade, Maria L. Fernandes, Carmen Andrade, Jorge P. Fernandes Andrade, Agostinho M. Fernandes Andrade, and Maria E. Andrade. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Alex De Andrade. Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in nurturing and supporting each of them.

Her legacy continues through her 27 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored deeply and who will forever carry her love in their hearts.

Felismina worked as a laundry attendant at Churchill Linen, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, she found happiness in simple, meaningful joys. She loved to sew, creating with care and skill, and expressed her love through cooking and baking for her family and friends. Her home was always filled with warmth, delicious meals, and a welcoming spirit.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at George Lopes Funeral Home.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 East Main Street, Brockton, Massachusetts.

Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
