Filomena Barbosa

Barbosa, Filomena born in Praia, Cabo Verde, passed on December 31, 2019 in Boston, MA.

She was born to parents Joao Barbosa and Teresa Semedo. 

Together with her lifelong partner Manuel Martins, they had two children, Rosângela Semedo and Dulceneia Standback. She was a loving grandmother of four grandchildren: Andrea, Michael, Micah and Lorena. Whom she loved dearly. They could do no wrong in her eyes. 

She also leaves six brothers and seven sisters and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends to cherish her memories. 

Visitation with family will be Monday, January 6, 2020 from 6-9 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 821 Cummins Highway, Mattapan, MA 02126.

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, January 7th at 11 AM also from the funeral home. Interment will follow to New Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.
