Florine Felder

Florine Felder was born to the late Chastine Thompson (Mother) and Albert Ziegler Brown (Father), in Perry, GA where she attended school in the Houston County public school system. She later moved to Boston, MA, where she started her 25-year career as an insurance file clerk at John Hancock.

Mrs. Felder also dedicated 25 years to the senior choir of Morning Star Baptist Church in Mattapan, MA, where she was also a Sunday school teacher. Mrs. Felder was a very loving, caring, honorable woman that devoted her free time to charity for homeless shelters.

She is survived by her life-long husband of 59 years, Rufus Felder Jr., 5 Children: Spencer A. Felder, Jacquelyn M. Felder, Darryl E. Felder, Ronald L. Felder-Angela, and Reggie A. Felder, 6 Grandchildren: James E. Johnson, Jamal S. Hargrove (Maeve), Camisha Berry Felder, Jalissa Felder, Clarence D. Felder, Reggie Felder Jr, 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Sister: Geraldine Keen 1 Nephew: Michael Keen, 2 Aunts: Lizzie Keen, Virginia Keen, 1 Cousin: Herman Keen, and a host of Brother-in-laws, Sister in laws, Nieces, Nephews and Godchildren.
