Fredrick Renard Thomas was born in Boston on February 27, 1969, to Freddie and Martha Thomas.
A proud Metco member, Fredrick graduated from the Robert White Academy in Government Center and continued pursuing his passion for creativity by earning an Associate Degree in Art from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. A talented artist, he was especially known for his work in airbrushing, graffiti, and black-and-white drawings. His creativity and personality brought joy, laughter, and connection to those around him.
Throughout his life, some of his favorite jobs included working at Kinkos, Metro Cab, and the Urban League, where he enjoyed teaching elderly community members computer skills and maintenance. He also loved playing chess, a reflection of his thoughtful, focused, and creative nature.
Fredrick was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Thomas, and his nephew, Courtney Thomas.
Fredrick is survived by his loving mother, Martha of Boston; his daughter, Blake Rosa (Sabino) of Framingham; his grandchildren, Isaiah and Anthony; his older sisters, Carmen Jones (Steven) of Boston and Carla Thomas of Quincy; his nephews, Brandon, Jarrid, Shaqueal (Melissa), and Armani; and his aunt, Mary Ann Arnold (James) of Columbia, South Carolina.
Fredrick will be remembered for the light he brought into the world and the lasting impression he left on everyone who knew him.
