Gracelina Rodrigues Miranda was born on August 15, 1972, in Luanda, Angola, and lived a beautiful life of 53 years, marked by faith and a generous spirit.
She shared 37 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Antero Miranda, who stood faithfully by her side through every season of life. Gracelina’s greatest role was that of a mother to her three daughters, Josie, Jasmine, and Jessica Miranda. She was deeply committed to their well-being and devoted herself to nurturing their lives and future. Her “three flowers” were the center of her world.
She cherished her family and friendships and was known for her caring and thoughtful nature. She found purpose in her work and joy in staying active through gardening, walking, exercising, and spending time at the beach.
Gracelina shared a close bond with her siblings, having supported one another after the loss of their parents, Adelino Rodrigues and Josefina Viera Fontes. She is reunited in heaven with her siblings Rafael, Carlitos, Carlos Viera Fontes Rodrigues, and Maria Alves. She is survived by her siblings Manuel (Manezin), Lim, Martinho (Nhoita), Joana (Fatinha) Viera Fontes-Rodrigues, Rosa Alves Andrade, and Adelina Fernandes.
Throughout her life, Gracelina reflected God’s love through her kindness, unwavering strength, and compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of a mother’s love, resilience, and deep compassion that will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the physicians, nurses, and caregivers whose compassion and dedication surrounded Gracelina with comfort and dignity throughout her journey. She is now embraced in the arms of God, resting in eternal peace.
“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23:6
