Helen Browder

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the loss of the beloved Helen Patricia Browder. She was born on June 27th, 1950, in North Carolina. Raised in Boston Massachusetts for most of her life and moved to Selma, AL where she lived with her husband for the last 30 years. Helen is a loving daughter, mother, grandmother and friend. An individual who walked with faith and was a devoted church member in her community. Her compassion followed her throughout her lifetime in her career as a bus driver for special needs and a caretaker. She offered a helping hand to those of her family and friends who needed it most. She will always be remembered and will be truly missed by all those who knew her. 

She departed this life on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by: Siblings: Melissa Mitchell, Damon Mitchell, Darin Mitchell, Barbara Cranford, Darlene Walker, Willie Edward Browder (brother in law)

children: Terrance, La’Neice, Tyeisha & Danielle Moon. Marcia, Janet, Jackie, Taechia, Kathy, Jennifer, Michael, Anthony, Kevin.

Grandchildren: Terrance, Terrell, Heleena, Trey, Kimariah, Jaelynn, Josiah, Ashley, Brian, Andreya, Derek, Shalik, Monica, Briana, Robert, D’Asia, Khalil, Ki’Andra

20 Great grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews.
