Inilton Fernandes

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Inilton Fernandes, who departed this life on August 5, 2026, in Brockton, Massachusetts, at the age of 41.

Inilton was born on February 21, 1985, in Fogo, Cabo Verde, to his loving parents, Carlos Andrade Fernandes and Celsa M. Fernandes. From his earliest years, he was surrounded by the love and support of his family, bonds that remained an important part of his life throughout the years.

Inilton graduated from high school and continued through life carrying with him the values, memories, and traditions instilled in him by his family. He will be remembered for the presence he brought into the lives of those who knew and loved him. His passing leaves a tremendous void in the hearts of his family and friends, but the memories shared with him will remain a lasting source of comfort.

Inilton leaves to cherish his memory his devoted parents, Carlos Andrade Fernandes and Celsa M. Fernandes; his beloved siblings, Alicia, Tony, Enzo, and Leslie; along with a host of extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply. Though his time with them was far too short, the love they shared and the memories they created together will forever remain in their hearts.

As his family and friends gather to honor his life, may they find strength in one another and comfort in remembering the moments, laughter, and love they shared with Inilton. His memory will continue to live on through all those whose lives he touched.

Viewing hours will take place on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home.

His Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM, also at George Lopes Funeral Home. Following the service, Inilton will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.

May Inilton Fernandes rest peacefully, and may his memory forever remain a blessing to his family and all who knew and loved him.
