Irene Jacqueline Rowell

Irene Jacqueline Rowell (70), of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Irene Rowell was born on September 1, 1955, in Eutawville, South Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of the late James Lee Rowell and Catherine Wigfall Rowell.

Irene Rowell leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving daughter Catherine Rowell and her son Lanis Rowell. 

Irene Rowell is also survived by two grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way, who will carry her legacy forward.

Irene's memory will also live on through her siblings James Rowell, Azerline Rowell, Carolyn Williams, Frances Jean Rowell-Darden, Joe Dexter Rowell, and a host of extended family and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

Irene’s life was a testament to love, family, and resilience. She will be remembered for the warmth she brought to those around her and the enduring bonds she created.
