Navy Veteran James L. Townsend of Hyde Park, Massachusetts passed peacefully on September 21, 2022, in West Roxbury, MA.

Born to George and Josie Townsend in Boston, MA. He leaves his wife Osasumwen Omere. His sons Jamie and Cornelius Lewis and daughters Daisy and Osasuyi Omere.

He was a blessed grandfather to eight, a dear brother to Alphonso McKelton and wife Betty and brother in law to Shanita Townsend.

He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends to cherish his memories.
