James Wilder, a beloved son, brother, and cherished friend, passed away on December 13, 2025, in St. Louis, Missouri.
Born on February 8, 1996, in Brockton, Massachusetts, James was the loving son of Jamie Nelson and Sadira Thompson.
He was a proud graduate of Brockton High School, where he formed lasting friendships and memories that stayed with him throughout his life.
James was known for his kind heart, warm spirit, and the love he shared with those around him. He had a way of making others feel seen and valued, and his presence brought comfort, laughter, and strength to his family and friends. Above all, James treasured his family and the bonds he shared with them.
He leaves behind his devoted parents, his siblings, and a host of loving family members and friends who will miss him dearly and forever hold his memory close to their hearts.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, with viewing hours from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Interment will follow at Melrose Cemetery, 88 N. Pearl Street, Brockton, MA 02301.
Though his life was far too short, James Wilder’s legacy of love, kindness, and connection will live on through all who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always.
