Joao Goncalves DaVeiga born in Brava, Cabo Verde to the late Antonio DaVeiga and Domingas DaVeiga, passed on February 24, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving children, grandchildren, and along with a host of relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation with family will be on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5-8 PM at George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 9:00AM at St. Edith Stein Parish, 71 E. Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301.

Final resting place will be Calvary Cemetery, Brockton, MA.
