Johnny Bush

Johnny Leroy Bush was born in Barnesville, Georgia on October 15, 1942, to the late Margarie Banks Watkins and Johnny Bush of Georgia. Johnny was the first to be born of nine children.

He is preceded in death by one son, John Fitzgerald Bush, three sisters, Rosa M. Smith, Mary Ann Miles & Virginia Wyatt, two brothers, McArthur Bush & Travis Watkins.

Johnny was a father to six children Michelle Dumas, Cary Bush, John Bush, Johnny Bush, Debra Bush and Jeffrey Bush, and one stepson Micheal Brewer.  

Johnny was educated at Booker School and left school at an earlier age to help at the family farm.  At an early age, he joined Sand Hill Church in Barnesville, GA.  Johnny worked at J.C. Corley Tire Company in Barnesville for several years before moving to Boston MA to live with Aunt Bertha (Tiny) Jones.  Johnny then worked at a Metal improvement Company as the supervisor for over 30 years in Springfield, MA and served as a Minister at New Antioch Baptist Church in Hartford CT. 

He will truly be missed by all of his friends and family, and his memories will always be in our hearts.
