Jose Alves, (78) of Brockton, MA has passed surrounded by his loved ones.

Jose Alves born November 9, 1944 to the late Jose Rodrigues and Henriqueta Alves in Fogo, Cabo Verde. 

Jose leaves behind his devoted, loving wife, Diolinda Alves, children, Filomena Alves, Lenira Alves, Jose Medina Alves, Emanuela Nadia Alves, Jose Carlos Alves, Marcelino Alves, and Flavia Alves, along with nine grandchildren, a host of loving siblings, and many other relatives and friends.

Viewing service for Jose Alves will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, from 9:00AM-11:00AM, located at the George Lopes Funeral Home, 647 Main Street, Brockton, MA 02301. Following the viewing will be the funeral mass with a starting time of 11:00AM at the George Lopes Funeral Home. Proceeding the services will be interment to Melrose Cemetery in Brockton, MA.
